Students Across the World
Sant’Anna offers diverse and comprehensive academic programs that span a wide range of disciplines—from Italian Studies to the Social and Natural Sciences, from Classical Studies to Business & Management, and from Arts & Humanities to Health Sciences. In addition, students can participate in credit-bearing internship programs and service-learning projects.
The primary goal of these programs is to enrich students’ personal and cultural growth, with a particular focus on developing global skills and intercultural competencies. This prepares students to become informed and engaged citizens in an increasingly interconnected world.
Our courses are deeply rooted in the unique strengths of our region, located in the heart of the Mediterranean—an area that has played a central role in the emergence and evolution of Western civilization.

Students must be at least 18 years old to attend any Sant’Anna program - GPA: 2.5 MIN

Academic Year
A full academic year abroad, discovering a new culture and becoming part of the local community
Spring Semester
Explore 360° of Sorrento, the local life before the tourism season begins and the excitement welcoming summer and visitors from all corners of the globe
Summer Term
Spend 5 or 10 weeks on the Mediterranean strengthening your resume with an international internship or taking classes towards your degree
Fall Semester
Arrive in Sorrento and bask in summer weather, experience the harvest, and return home in time for the holidays
J-term Program
Immerse yourself in the Italian language and culture and become a global citizen
Maymester Program
Spend your Maymester in Sorrento and earn credits toward your degree
Gap Year Program
Spend your gap year in Sorrento building resume and broadening your global & intercultural skills
Honors Program
Show your talent and deepen your research skills within an international context
International Internship Program
An internship in the field combined with academic coursework for reflection and skill documentation.
