Our Campus

Perched on a cliff overlooking the stunning Bay of Naples, the Sant’Anna Institute offers a truly unique learning environment in the heart of Sorrento, Italy. Housed in a historical building that once served as a convent, the campus blends old-world charm with modern educational facilities.

Students enjoy bright, spacious classrooms with sea views, a well-equipped library, and common areas designed to foster community and collaboration. The on-site residence hall allows for a full immersion experience, with student housing just steps from classrooms and the vibrant streets of Sorrento.

The Building

Sant’Anna Institute is housed in a historical building that was a convent founded in 1864 by an order of nuns named “Suore di Carità dell’Immacolata Concezione d’Ivrea”. Classrooms are located on three of the building’s five stories, and the top two floors are home to the Residence Hall. Rooms from the institute overlook the picturesque fishing village, Marina Grande, or the school’s gardens.

The Garden

Sant’Anna Institute is surrounded by a colorful Mediterranean garden abundant with fruits and vegetables. Students can enjoy their break between classes in the fragrant, lush Mediterranean atmosphere.

Classroom Space

Sant’Anna provides spacious and bright classroom spaces with natural light during the day. Some have sea-facing windows and others face the garden. Each classroom is equipped with tech devices such as: a smart board, a computer, a projector, Wi-Fi connection, and air conditioning.

Common Areas

Sant’Anna offers a variety of spaces designed to support student life, learning, and well-being both inside and outside the classroom.
The student lounge is open to all students as a place to relax, socialize, or take a break between classes. It features comfortable sofas, vending machines, and a piano—making it an ideal spot for coffee breaks and intercultural exchange.

A water dispenser is also available to encourage the use of refillable bottles and reduce disposable plastic waste.

The Sant’Anna studio library serves as both a quiet study area and a printing point. It offers a wide selection of books related to the institute’s academic fields and features garden-facing windows that create a calm and focused environment.

In addition, students have access to an recreational area where they can relax, study, or engage in sports.

Residence Hall

Sant’Anna’s Residence Hall, opened in 2017, occupies the upper floors of the building with panoramic terraces overlooking the Marina Grande on the Bay of Naples. It accommodates up to 80 students and offers modern, comfortable living spaces.

Bedrooms

Rooms are available in single, double, or triple configurations with garden or sea view. Each room  includes a desk, wardrobe, A/C, Wi-Fi* access, mini-fridge, bedding, towels, and a private or shared bathroom.

Kitchens & Laudry Facilities

The dorm kitchen features a large open floor kitchen with seven kitchen stations and fridges shared by floor
Each station is equipped with dishware, glassware, small serving bowls, cutlery, pots, pans, and utensils.
The Residence Hall provides laundry facilities with card-operated washing machines and driers.
