As part of our Archaeology Field Study course and in conjunction with the recent archaeological discoveries on-site, we are pleased to present the lecture “A Day in Pompeii – Life and Death of an Ancient Roman Colony” (April 4th, 1 PM ET), led by our faculty member Ilaria Tartaglia.
Relive with us the fascinating history of Pompeii while exploring Roman daily life, culture and society through the lens of this ancient city. The new discoveries from the past months, which provide further and significant insights into the life of the city at the time of the eruption, will also be examined.
