Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to inform you that the Sant'Anna Institute will be attending the AAIS - CSIS joint Conference (http://canadiansocietyforitalianstudies.camp7.org/AAIS-CSIS-Conference-2017) that will take place at Ohio State University in Columbus OH (20-22 April 2017).

Our Academic Director Marco Marino will chair two sessions organized in collaboration with prof. Brian J. Gilley (Indiana University) entitled INTERSECTIONS BETWEEN POLITICS, SOCIETY, AND CULTURE IN ITALY DURING THE FIRST REPUBLIC (1946-1992):

- session I: 2.45-4:15 pm (7J, April 21, room 15.1)
- session II: : 1.45-3:15 pm (10H, April 22, room 15.2)

All colleagues interested in knowing more about:

- our summer and semester study abroad programs (internship & service learning projects included)
- our faculty-led programs
- the next "Women of/on Mediterranean" Conference (May, 26-27)

are encouraged to stop at the Sant'Anna table at the Conference lobby.

On April, 25 (3-4 pm) our Coordinator of Italian literature courses, Domenico Palumbo, will hold a lecture entitled "Mediterraneo scambio, connessione e transitorietà" at the Indiana University in Bloomington (Global & International Studies Building 1060), organized by the Departments of Anthropology & French and Italian Studies.
